FISH STORY GUIDE SERVICE

The rivers and ponds of Pittsburg New Hampshire
-The best river fishing in all of New Hampshire with the scenery of a remote wilderness.  This is my second home and where I grew up fishing.  You can find trophy fish in the section of the Connecticut River throughout the entire season due to a series of tail-water release dams. It is also one of the only rivers in the state where you have an opportunity to catch rainbow trout, brook trout, brown trout and land-lock salmon in the same day.

The Newfound River
-Coming out of Newfound Lake in central New Hampshire, this river can produce rainbows, brookies and the occasional LL salmon.  It fishes well into late June and can produce again in the fall.

The Cocheco River
-This river may be on the verge of becoming a wonderful brown trout fishery.  Most fishing here will be done in the spring and the fall.  It was also a wonderful area to fish through December last year.

The Lamprey River
-Wiswall dam has been a destination fishery for New Englanders for many years now.  It has a reputation of big rainbows in the fall and numerous trout stockings in the spring.  It also can produce large brown trout in the fall due to a brood stock brown trout stocking by the state.

The Exeter River
-This is a wonderful area to learn how to fly fish.  Known for easy access and large quantities of trout, this area is easily waded and receives a healthy stocking from the state.  It may also get a "secret" stocking of trout in the fall.
